Privacy Policy

Last updated September 30, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Watch It? Track It. collects, how it's used and the choices you have. The site is operated by Scott Zsori, who is responsible for your information.

What we collect

When you create an account: your email address, username, display name and a securely hashed password. Your settings, such as the languages you know. Your contributions and edit history: what you changed and when. Edit history may show your username. Technical information our hosting providers log when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested.

How we use it

To run the site and your account, sign you in and keep you signed in, send account emails such as address verification, show the history of contributions, keep the site secure and prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run the site for us: Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (database, file storage and content delivery) and Resend (email). Contributions are public: they're published on the site and through the public API, and anyone may copy them. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a transfer of the site to a new owner.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: one keeps you signed in, and one remembers your language. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Account information is kept while your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information, but your contributions stay on the site and may be kept without your name. Server logs are kept only briefly by our providers.

Your rights

You can see and change most of your information in your settings. You can also ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it or delete it by emailing scott@watchittrackit.com. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you may have further rights, including objecting to some uses and complaining to a data protection authority.

Children

The site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Where your information goes

Our providers store and process information in the United States and other countries. By using the site, you understand that your information may be transferred there.

Security

We protect your information with reasonable measures, such as encrypted connections and hashed passwords, but no system is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
